A high-security feature to improve the protection against alteration and replacement of the applicant’s photo is Invisible Personal Information (IPI
TM), which links the encrypted photo to the owner and to the ID document and therefore adds high-security against counterfeiting to the complete credential. The information is not detectable to the naked eye, but is visible only by use of a simple decoding device. The use of IPI
TM requires an additional license agreement.
