Supervisory Board

Dr. Hans-Joerg Rotberg is chairman of the supervisory board. After finalizing his studies in law at Westfälische Wilhelms University in Münster, Hans-Jörg Rotberg started working at the University of Münster as chair assistant and junior lecturer. In 1990 he joined the law firm of Dehnen & Janson, where he became an equity partner after only 18 months. In 1995 Mr. Rotberg joined Andersenlegal in Düsseldorf, where he headed the M&A taskforce. In 2000 he was a co-founder of a XL-Venture with € 75 Mio under management. He sold his shares in 2002 to a Swiss investment group Since 2004 he runs his own law firm in Munich. His main areas of practice are M&A/venture capital/private equity, general corporate and equity capital markets.

Uwe Steinbacher is deputy chairman of the supervisory board. Uwe Steinbacher started his professional career as an entrepreneur during which he founded and managed several companies from 1985 through 1995. Following his studies of economics at the university of Witten/Herdecke he was employed at TFG Venture Capital AG from 2000 to 2002. Since 2002 Uwe Steinbacher has been employed at Brockhaus Private Equity GmbH which serves as a management company for the Brockhaus Private Equity Funds where he has been the managing director since 2005.
