This revolutionary UV printing technology allows the finest tone scale reproduction for the personalization of invisible images of highest quality, a feature unparalleled in the ID industry. The XID Printer Driver also provides for application-independent positioning of UV images and text.
A higher individual level of true security is provided with this feature, because the individual image or text is not visible at daylight. The UV print is not detectable to the naked eye, but is only visible by the use of a simple UV light source.
No investment in overlamination technology is necessary to use this additional level of security. It is therefore a fantastic and attractive security feature for corporate and government clients.
Furthermore, a covert “machine-code” that cannot be modified or removed is printed in the corner of the UV printed card every time one is issued to identify the exact printer on which the card has been created. This allows you to spot forgeries quickly and easily, as the number will be different for cards issued from any other printer.
